Chancery folio (293 x 210mm.), 421 leaves (of 422), [*2 a-z A-Y10], 38 lines plus foliation, gothic type, 3- and 4-line initial spaces, a few supplied in red and silver, contemporary south German blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, two clasps, some deckle edges, some early annotations, a line of text supplied in manuscript at foot of fol. cxxvii verso, lacking fol. cxv (part of the life of St George), first two leaves and fol. cclix damaged and repaired, marginal tear in fol. clxiii, some damp-staining and soiling, rebacked, lacking both clasps, binding somewhat rubbed
