i) Lewis, M. G. The Monk : A Romance. London: Printed for J. Bell, 1796, 3 volumes, 12mo (167 x 102mm.), second edition, contemporary marbled calf, spine ruled in gilt, black morocco spine label lettered in gilt, browning, staining to end papers, hinges starting, bindings worn;


ii) [Walpole, Horace.] Jeffrey’s Edition of the Castle of Otranto, A Gothic Story. London: Cooper and Graham, 1796,  8vo (202 x 122mm.), new edition, 7 hand-coloured engraved plates with additional ornamental borders, contemporary calf, ruled in gilt, spine gilt in compartments, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, minor spotting, minor offsetting from plates, bindings worn;




iii) Robinson, Mary. Lyrical Tales, London: T. N. Longman and O. Rees, 1800, 8vo (159 x 95mm.), contemporary calf, ruled in gilt, spine with black morocco onlay with decorative gilt, marbled endpapers,  [J. Smith Fleming, booklabel], minor spotting, hinges slightly starting, boards worn;

Bulmer and Co., 1801, 2 volumes, 8vo (244 x 155mm.), straight-grained red morocco with decorative gilt border, spine ruled in gilt with green morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers, very light spotting, bindings slightly rubbed,  small hole at foot of spine on volume one;
