Condition
The panel is uncradled, flat and stable, and there is a vertical join just left of the centre which runs the height of the panel. The paint surface is stable, and the varnish is slightly discoloured. There are two areas of visible retouchings, one to the right of the roemer, and the other along the aforementioned join. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a handful of pin-prick sized retouchings scattered throughout the composition. In overall fair condition.
