RARE. An elegant reprint of the 1568 Poitiers edition, financed by Friedrich, margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. The engravings are based on the original illustrations, but with the costumes updated and the hunting horn is now a hooped horn rather than a simple crescent.
