Catalogue Note
Rather than being a straight translation of Du Fouilloux's La Venerie, this is an adaptation including material from other writers, such as Clamorgan and de Franchières. It is also of interest for the fine woodcuts after Jost Amman, by Christoph Maurer, Ludwig Frig and others. The woodcuts were also used for Meurer's work, which was previously published by Feyerabend in 1576.
