Chancery folio (270 x 190mm.), 148 leaves, (2-3)6 a8 b-y6 z8, double column, 46 lines plus headline, gothic type, 4- to 7-line initial spaces, some initials in red or blue, red paraphs, initial strokes and underlining, early seventeenth-century blind-tooled pigskin, one of the tools with the initials WF (possibly Wilhelm Funcke of Stuttgart, active 1560-1616), blue edges, small areas of damage to title-page and start of text, occasional light browning, a few small stains at end, binding slightly soiled, lacking two pairs of ties
