Catalogue Note

Clamorgan's treatise was first published in 1566 in Paris by du Puys, designed to accompany Charles Estienne's L'agriculture et maison rustique (see lot 77 for the 1564 edition). The woodcuts indicate the damage that wolves caused to sheep and other domesticated animals.
