Condition
The panels are both flat and uncradled. The paint surfaces are slightly dirty, and the varnishes are clear and even. There is evidence of some frame abrasion and associated losses, particularly along the lower and right margins in both. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some strengthening in the dark backgrounds of both pictures, but there is very little other discernible intervention. In overall very good condition.
