Catalogue Note

FIRST EDITION, ONE OF ONLY TWO COPIES KNOWN. There were two issues of this pair of fables about a magpie being chased by a falcon. WorldCat locates three copies of the Frankfurt imprint, but this and the Jeanson copy seem to be the only recorded examples of the Wittenberg issue.
