Catalogue Note

This contemporary manuscript contains sections from the end of the 'Zweiter Theil' of Noe Meurer's Von Forstlicher Oberherrlichkeit und Gerechtigkeit, was die Recht, der Gebrauch, und die Billigkeit desshalben vermög (Frankfurt: W. Han & G. Raben, 1561): see ff. LXXXIIIIv-XCVIIv. The considerable divergences in orthography and the presence of two final sections, 'Vom Adenlichen Weidwerckh der Falcken unnd Habich' and 'Vonn dem Habich', not traced in the book, suggest that this manuscript is based on an earlier source, rather than directly on the 1561 edition.
