Catalogue Note

These woodcuts, which are also attributed to Leonhard Beck, show images of saints connected to the house of Habsburg, and were first printed 1516-1518. The original blocks, from which this edition was printed, were commissioned by Emperor Maximilian I and held in the Imperial Library at Vienna.
