Catalogue Note

Maria Elisabeth's entry into Würzburg was celebrated with a hunt on the River Main followed by an elaborate firework display designed by Balthasar Neumann. The second work is RARE: we have not been able to trace another copy. It describes a stag hunt that took place in Prague in honour of the Empress Elisabeth Christina.
