the main field with overall repeat motifs of flowering trees, birds and animals, against a flatwoven pale yellow ground, within a border with cartouches enclosing landscape vignettes, and with banded inner and outer guards
Condition
This rug is very finely woven. There is no metal thread. There are areas of wear down to foundation due to oxidisation and wear. It is slightly brittle. It has a flatwoven pale yellow ground. It has some charming details and is decorative. Estimate commensurate with condition.
