- A collection of 48 paintings on paper, mostly relating to the Royal dining room of the hunting castle at Moritzburg in Saxony. Germany, late nineteenth-century (one dated 1893)

A fine series of 47 watercolours by Hammer (1821-1898), showing the antler collection in the royal dining room of the hunting castle at Moritzburg in Saxony. There is a manuscript leaf with extensive notes on the collection loosely inserted. This lot also includes a detailed gouache of a buck dated 1893.
