This work is in very good condition, taking its age into account. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The media layer is stable, and the colors are vibrant. An isolated area of light frame abrasion measuring approximately four inches in length is present along the extreme upper left edge of the canvas. Two minor pinpoint punctures are present in the extreme lower right corner of the canvas. Isolated areas of fine craquelure are visible under raking light in the areas of black pigment in the central right and upper left quadrants of the work. An additional fine line of craquelure is visible under raking light in the upper right quadrant, measuring three inches inward from the edge of the canvas.
