Condition

(1) This work is in good condition overall. An isolated area of minor accretions is present in the upper left corner. Fine lines of craquelure are present throughout, and a stretcher mark is present along the lower edge. Faint yellowing of the varnish has occurred due to age. Under ultraviolet examination, minor isolated spots of inpainting become apparent in the upper right quadrant and along the lower edge of the canvas. (2) This work is in good condition overall. Minor spots of paint loss are present in the upper quadrants of the painting, in particular along the upper right edge. A minor accretion is present in the lower right corner. Fine lines of light craquelure are present throughout, and a stretcher mark is present along the lower edge. Faint yellowing of the varnish has occurred due to age.
