This work is in good condition overall. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. Two losses to the board are present, one in the extreme lower left corner, and one along the extreme upper right edge, each measuring approximately ¼ inch. Minor spots of paint loss measuring ¼ inch in length are present at the upper left corner, along the upper right edge two inches down from the top of the board, in the lower right corner, and along the lower left edge approximately four inches from the lower left corner. Under ultraviolet light examination, four isolated minor areas of inpainting become apparent in the lower quadrants of the work in the waves. A fine line of inpainting also becomes apparent along the lower edge of the board. A minor spot of accretion becomes apparent in the lower right quadrant, near the lower edge of the work.
