Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. A six-inch horizontal area of wear and minor pinpoint spots of pigment loss are present to the extreme lower center edge of the canvas. A two-inch circular area of media loss is present in the central left quadrant, approximately six inches inward from the center. Under ultraviolet light examination, eight drip accretions measuring less than three inches in length each become apparent in the upper and center left quadrants. Fluorescing occurs throughout due to the pigments selected by the artist.
