Condition

This work is in fair condition overall. The colors are vibrant. The sheet has been affixed to the mat in each corner and along each edge. The handmade amate paper sheet presents areas of thinness and losses throughout. The most noticeable of these are a 1/2-inch circular material loss in the upper left corner, two two-inch tears along the upper right and lower center edges of the work, and additional scattered smaller losses throughout the central composition. A dark two-inch diagonal scuff is present in the upper left corner of the work, to the left of the head of the figure.
