A draped silk jersey evening dress

Condition

A Marcelle Tizeau couture draped jersey ‘goddess’ dress, 1947, labelled Marcelle Tizeau, Paris, the diagonally pleated asymmetric bodice over vertically pleated skirt, bust 81cm, 32in, waist 61cm. Hem has been raised 1 cm, later brassiere support was added, easily removed. Small pulls occasionally in the fabric, but nothing significant. Slight pulls to front of skirt. 2 cm hole in bodice lining, brassiere cups later added and removable if desired hem has been shortered
