Condition
A Jeanne Lanvin couture velvet dinner dress, 1937, large woven label, numbered 27831, with draped cowl neckline, centre-front pleats caught into a smocked band at the waist, orange satin cuff returns, bust 86-92cm, 24-36in
Good condition, hem was raised and re-lowered.I can't be sure if this is the original hem length as the hem finish is not original. Hem is nicely done by hard rolled egdes but usually wuth Lanvin there is a machined hem edge, something has been unpicked from the skirt - possibly a decorative ribbon band? Overall good condition
