Roger Vivier for Christian Dior, A pair of beaded evening shoes, 1955-57,beige silk faille uppers, embroidered in silver thread with vermicular bands, trimmed with silver sequins and tasselled fringes of gold and pearl beads, 26cm, 10in long lacking beaded fringes along the upper edges of the outer sides of the shoes, the front and inner upper sides the beading is good, silk is rubbed at toe tips, heel area upper and on the upper just above the sole on the inner left edge of the left shoe,.
