Condition

The medium is oil on canvas. The canvas is not lined. The work is in good overall condition. The colors are vibrant and fresh, there is nice impasto in places. The canvas is a tiny bit slack on the stretcher. On the reverse, bottom center, there is an area of staining, possibly associated with a restoration. Under UV: the area corresponding to the staining on the back fluoresces gently. There is some fluorescing overall which appears to be the result of an uneven application of varnish. In the center left portion of the floral arrangement, there are several small strokes of inpainting. The work presents very well overall and is ready to hang.
