Condition
The canvas is lined. Faint stretcher bar mark along upper edge. Faint signs of craquelure in foam of sea and near centre of the sky; otherwise appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals infilling and flecks of retouching to aforementioned craquelure in centre of sky and also near right hand edge.
Held in gilt composite frame.
