Condition

Original canvas. Two small spots of paint loss, one in the rocks in the lower right corner and another in the sea near the lower right corner. Some surface dirt along right vertical edge. Overall it appears in good condition with some strong areas of impasto. Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching. Held in a simple silver gilt frame.
