Hyde & Goodrich were in business from 1816, but only listed in the New Orleans City Directory from 1822, listing James N. Hyde & C.W. Goodrich at "15 Charters Street; jewelry, military and fancy hardware." The name of the firm Hyde & Goodrich appears in the Directory in 1838. The business closed in 1866.
