Condition

Some surface abrasions with rubbing along outer red borders with paper adhesions. Minor stains. Verso: Some stains with old repairs and reinforced areas.Conservation framed.

Catalogue Note

A couple sits against a bolster, exchanging caresses within the brilliant red chamber of a turreted white marble pavilion.  A lamp burns with two distinct flames beside them.  Attended by musicians and handmaidens.  In the lush garden below two white doves peck at blossoms in a vase.  A yellow panel above with text in black and red Devanagari script.  Compartmentalized within thick white borders.  Pink outer borders.
