Recto: an agitated turbaned man yells - with open mouth his teeth and tongue visible - his eyes glaring and eyebrows arched.  A small study of an elephant's head with trunk holding a scale enigmatically sketched above.

Verso: a figure study (likely but not definitely female) in profile with an elaborate gold earring and jewelry.  Black ink blotches in the composition.
