Catalogue Note

The arhat Gopaka is seated in rajalilasana at upper left, holding a pustakam in the left hand. The arhat Abheda is seated upright at upper right, holding a stupa aloft. The attendant Dharmatala standing at center, holding the fly whisk in the right hand and two kalasha in the left, wearing a pack filled with pustakam and fitted with a parasol. Dhritarashtra the Guardian of the Eastern Direction is at lower left holding a vina, and Vaishravana the Guardian of the Northern Direction is at lower right holding a staff in the raised right hand and a mongoose in the left.
