Condition

The medium is pencil on paper. The work is in fairly good overall condition. The sheet is hinged to the mat backing at two points along the top edge, verso. There is some small old tape residue at the center of the top edge, verso, and along the better portion of the right edge, recto as well as in the extreme upper right corner verso. There are some small handling creases throughout. There are tiny pinholes in three corners. There is a hard crease in the extreme lower right corner and another in the upper left corner. There are a few tiny repaired tears in the upper left corner, and one towards the center of top edge, extending 2mm vertically down. There are some foxmarks, and a rectangle formed from mat stain from a previous mat, the right edge about an inch from the true right edge of the sheet, the bottom about 1/4 in. from the true bottom edge. In the upper right corner there is a brown spot of discoloration and the paper is raised, there is an associate pin-prick loss. The sheet is gently light stained and the work presents well.
