Condition

Executed on cream colored wove paper laid down on canvas. There is minor buckling to the canvas and sheet in the upper right corner. There is a vertical line of creasing to the paper (measuring 1/2 inch in length) located on the top edge of her hair. There are two further lines of creasing, each also measuring 1/2 inch in length in the upper right quadrant of the background. There are artist's pinholes at the center of the top edge. There are repaired artist's pinholes at the top left and lower left. The sheet is uniformly and lightly time faded. There is a light mat stain around the entire perimeter. The pigments are fresh and strong and the work is in overall very good condition.
