Condition

The work is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined. There is lively and strong impasto. The surface is clean and the pigments are strong and vibrant. There is a light buckling to the canvas, particularly in the upper right corner. There is a network of apparently stable cracking extending throughout the composition. When examined under UV there is what appears to be natural pigment fluorescence in the upper right and lower right quadrants and no apparent overpainting or restoration.
