Condition

This work is in good condition. The canvas has been lined. The surface is richly textured. There are some small areas of fine and stable craquelure and pigment shrinkage most notably in the darkest pigments. There are two tiny pindot spots where the pigment is slightly lifting. Under UV light: a thick later of varnish is difficult to read through but no inpainting is apparent.
