Condition

Executed on cream wove card which has not been laid down. The sheet is hinged along the reverse of the top edge. There is a very light mat stain along the top and left edges. There is light uniform time fading to the sheet. There are light spots or foxing scattered throughout the composition. There is a repair to the paper at the top right corner. There is scuffing to the surface of the paper in the upper left corner just above the lady’s hat. There is further scuffing to the surface in the upper right quadrant as visible in the catalogue illustration. The work is in good condition.
