Condition

Executed on cream colored laid paper which has not been laid down. There are traces of old glue and an old mat to the verso of the sheet. There are traces of old tape to each of the four corners and there are corner mounts to the verso of the lower left and lower right corners. The pigment is fresh and strong. There is acidic mat staining measuring approximately 1/8 inch in width around the periphery of the sheet. There is a pin dot loss to the paper in the upper left corner. There is a spot of foxing in the lower right corner and other minor light spots of foxing scattered throughout the composition. There is a diagonal repaired tear to the sheet situated to the center of the lower edge measuring approximately 1/2 in. in length. There is very minor surface dirt in the background to the right of the signature along the bottom edge. The work is largely in very good condition.
