The canvas is not lined. The UV examination reveals no signs of retouching. There are some scattered stain, possibly from a liquid towards the upper left quadrant of the composition. There is some paint shrinkage in places, predominately in the clouds. The impasto in the trees is very rich. The work is in overall good condition.
