Condition
The canvas has been wax relined. There is a network of bubbling to the original canvas in the lower right quadrant of the canvas. There is evidence of restored paint shrinkage throughout the composition but most notably in the brown tones of the houses. When examined under UV light, there is general scattered retouching in the lower left quadrant and further repainting to areas in the lower right quadrant, to the wall of the right house and the fence next to it. There is some general craquelure to the paint surface. The painting is in relatively good condition.
