Condition
The canvas is unlined. The impasto is lively and strong, particularly in the lower half of the composition. There is craquelure throughout the sky. When examined under UV light, there is no evidence of any overpainting, some of the pigments have a natural fluorescence. The surface is clean and the painting is ready to hang on the wall.
