Condition
The work is in very good condition. The bronze features a mottled reddish brown and emerald green patina with minor surface dirt in deeper crevices and some light build up of verdigris on the figures underside .

The first two casts of this model from the 1958-1967 Musée Rodin edition include an integrated base which was removed from the subsequent casts, including the present work, as it is not considered part of the original work.
