Condition

The canvas is wax lined. The surface is nicely textured and a bit dirty in places. Under UV light 3 moderately broad repairs are visible left of center, the largest being a 4 inch diagonal line in the sky, with a 2 inch horizontal repair immediately below and a 2 inch vertical repair running above the horizon 4 inches from the left edge. A few additional scattered, smaller strokes and pin dots are visible in a few places throughout the sky and along the upper edge likely to address some prior frame abrasions. This work is in overall good condition.
