Condition
The canvas is unlined. The impasto is fresh and strong. When examined under UV light, there are two or three areas of retouching to the sky in the upper left quadrant, each no more than 1.5 by 1.5 in. in size. There is furthermore some retouching along the upper left corner edges, along the left and lower edges. The varnish is clean and the painting is ready to hang. The work is in good condition.
