Condition

This work is in good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The sheet has been attached to another sheet of paper which is partially adhered to a board. The sheet is attached to the above mentioned sheet around its periphery but does not appear to have been laid down. There are scattered spots of foxing to the composition, most notably in the upper right corner, the lower left foreground and to the house on the lower left. There is time staining to sheet and some to the pigment, but the pigment overall remains fresh and bright. There is a loss to the paper in the upper left corner and further 3 areas of loss along the lower left edge. Please note that these are not visible when the work is in its mat. There is a diagonal repair to the paper acorss the top left corner measuring approximately 10 in in length. There is a minor loss to the white pigment in the top right corner of the sky.
