Condition

The work is in very good condition. The board is sound thought there are scattered scuffs and nicks on the reverse as well as small losses at the extreme corners. There is one inch of canvas wrapped around the extreme lower right corner, with a corresponding crease across the corner, which looks to be a very early repair to the board which Dufy painted on directly. There are artist's pinholes at all four corners. There is some frame abrasions around the extreme perimeter and a pindot surface loss at the center of the right edge. But otherwise, apart from some minor surface dirt, the paint layer is remarkably well-preserved. Under UV light, there is no inpainting apparent.
