The canvas has not been relined. There is minor buckling to the canvas in the upper right and upper left corners. There is some frame rubbing along the top edge. There are two pin holes to the upper left corner and what appears to be an imperfection to the canvas in the lower left corner. When examined under UV light there is no evidence of any in-painting or restoration. The painting is in overall very good condition.

Traces of the artist's signature Renoir., which is present in the photographs of Ambroise Vollard, are faintly visible toward the lower right corner of the canvas.
