Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating. However, UV light reveals areas of fluorescence to the sky which appear to relate to an uneven application of varnish. There is a spot of paint loss to the left part of the upper edge, probably due to frame rubbing and a few further flecks of paint loss at intermittent points along the extreme edges. The UV examination also reveals scattered specks of dirt within the varnish. This work is overall good condition and would benefit from a clean.
