Condition
The board is stable. Examination under UV light reveals a milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating. However, UV examination reveals some minor spots of retouching to the flowers as well as intermittent retouching to the black border, most notably along the left edge and to the lower part of the right edge. There are spots of paint loss along all four edges as well as some scattered paint losses to the composition, most notably to the apple and to the background in the lower right quadrant. The upper right corner of the board has been bent resulting in the loss of the top layer of the board, which has been retouched. The left edge and the lower part of the right edge of the board are slightly fraying. This work is in overall good condition.
