Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a thin line of retouching (approx. 2cm long) to the edge of the lowest plume of the figure's helmet and a spot of possible further retouching to the edge of the helmet. There are some minor flecks of pigment loss to the extreme edges, consistent with frame rubbing. The colours are bright and fresh and this work is in overall very good condition.
