The bronze is sound with a light green variegated patina. There is a build up of dust in the deepest crevices and some light wear to the most protruding elements. There are some small areas of flaking and loss to the patina, notably on the reverse of the upper right corner, to the centre of the torso and above the signature at lower right, some of which may require consolidation. There are a few further small surface nicks and fine scratches in places which are not distracting. Some faint media marks are visible to the reverse of the sculpture. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
