Condition
The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. There is a vertical stretcher bar mark to the centre of the canvas. There are some fine lines of entirely stable craquelure to the more thickly applied white pigment and some tiny flecks of paint loss, predominantly to the sky. There are some very small fly spots to the centre of the sky. Otherwise this work is in good overall condition and might benefit from a clean.
