Condition
The canvas is not lined and examination under UV light reveals no traces of retouching. There is a spot of pigment loss to the white pigment in the upper left quadrant, another to the pale blue pigment in the upper right quadrant and some further small spots towards the lower left corner. There is some paint shrinkage visible in the thicker pigments. There is a lovely impasto. This work is in overall good condition.
